SHAKTI Warriors exists to restore what many children are losing today: emotional strength, real connection, and a sense of purpose. In a world increasingly shaped by anxiety, isolation, overprotection, and digital immersion, we believe children don’t need more screen time or to be "uber focused" on academics - they need meaningful play, stories, independence, and the emotional skills to navigate life's challenges. SHAKTI Warriors is a story-driven, gamified learning platform that builds emotional well-being as the foundation for learning and long-term success.

Rooted in educational neuroscience and brought to life through powerful storytelling and experiential play, our program equips children with tools for self-regulation, empathy, courage, and connection. Educators and parents don’t just teach SHAKTI Warriors - they experience it with the children. Again and again, we see classrooms shift, relationships deepen, and adults rediscover why they chose this work in the first place.

Our Founders

SHAKTI Warriors was founded by a team of educators, creatives, and builders whose combined life and professional experiences led them to this moment. Across decades of work in education, storytelling, neuroscience-informed learning, entrepreneurship, and community building, the founders saw the same pattern repeating: children were struggling emotionally, adults were overwhelmed, and the systems meant to support them were falling short. SHAKTI Warriors emerged not as a theoretical solution, but as a response born from real classrooms, real families, and real challenges - designed by people who believe that when children are given the right stories, tools, and experiences, they don’t just cope with the world, they grow strong enough to change it.

An educator and learning designer with a deep curiosity about how the brain shapes behavior, emotions, and connection, Natasha is energized by the question: What if children actually understood how their minds work? While studying at Teachers College, Columbia University, she immersed herself in Social and Emotional Development and brain-based learning, developing a vision for education in India that is grounded in how children truly learn, regulate, and relate—both in school and at home.

That vision came to life over her last 4 years of teaching in Goa through her design and leadership of SHAKTI Warriors, a neuroscience-informed program that makes emotional development practical, engaging, and real. By helping children (and adults) understand what’s happening in their brains—especially in moments of stress, conflict, and growth—Natasha’s work brings learning out of theory and into everyday life, strengthening self-regulation, relationships, and confidence.

Looking ahead, Natasha is excited to expand SHAKTI Warriors’ impact by bringing REAL connection, real conversations, and real tools back to families and schools. As a co-founder of SHAKTI India, she is passionate about equipping parents, teachers, and children with brain-based strategies that restore balance, build resilience, and help everyone show up more present, grounded, and human in a rapidly changing world.

‘Captain’ to all, a serial Social Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker and Leadership Coach, Captain is always looking for new avenues to address problems people face that are getting little attention form others. A former military pilot and airline captain, he brought 35-plus years of aviation experience into co-founding Clearskies, an Unmanned Aviation Company that certifies and places Drone Pilots and runs STEM accelerators in schools by partnering with the CSR end of large aviation companies.

As founder of the critically-acclaimed Olde Bangalore Resort, the Corporate Training facility, he has also helped thousands of disadvantaged young people skill up and find employment in hospitality. As a graduate of the National Defence Academy and a member of the faculty at his alma-mater, Captain’s penchant for Nation-building through well-thought-out strategies is what drives his forays into environmental renewal, skilling, employment, precision agriculture, and many other social impact ventures.

Captain brings a lifetime of his socially-conscious ‘don’t-just-talk – do-something-about-it’ thinking and his strategic insights from being a serial social-entrepreneur into co-founding SHAKTI India. As Head of Strategy, Captain Dinesh Nayar is aligned with the other super-passionate founders’ vision of being a global company that helps not only children but also teachers and parents (the child’s immediate environment) across the world regulate emotionally and build empathy, collaboration and purpose as pillars of their personality.

A founder, strategist, and lifelong entrepreneur, Lane JaBaay brings more than 20 years of experience across Corporate America and Education to the creation of SHAKTI Warriors. With a degree in Educational Neuroscience, she is deeply interested in how children learn, regulate, and make sense of the world around them—and how understanding the brain can help young people grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose in an increasingly complex time.

As Founder of SHAKTI Warriors – USA and co-founder of SHAKTI India, Lane blends storytelling, brain-based learning, and thoughtfully designed experiences to build a platform that feels both imaginative and grounded in real life. Her work reflects an entrepreneurial mindset rooted in curiosity and action, creating practical tools that help children strengthen emotional regulation, self-awareness, and the confidence to engage thoughtfully with the world they are growing into.

Looking ahead, Lane is focused on expanding SHAKTI Warriors from the U.S. to India and onward to communities around the world—inviting children to wake up to the world they have stepped into and recognize their role in shaping what comes next. Her work is not about escape or distraction; it is about helping young people meet the world as it is, with curiosity, courage, and a growing sense of responsibility for the future they will inherit.
