Program Overview/Fit
What is SHAKTI Warriors?
SHAKTI Warriors is a student well-being program designed to help children build the internal strength needed to thrive in today’s world. Through powerful storytelling, immersive characters, experiential learning, and neuroscience-based lesson design, students learn how to regulate emotions, strengthen self-awareness, build healthy relationships, and develop purpose-driven confidence.
Who is SHAKTI Warriors designed for?
SHAKTI Warriors is designed to run in schools primarily for upper primary/elementary and middle school students, with the strongest fit typically being Grades 4–6. The program can also be adapted for after-school programs, community-based learning environments, and family use.
Why was SHAKTI Warriors created?
SHAKTI Warriors was created for schools, organizations, and homes that recognize something critical: childhood has changed. Kids are growing up in a digital world that often disconnects them from real relationships, real confidence, real purpose, and real emotional strength. SHAKTI Warriors was built to help bring “real” back by giving students the tools to understand themselves, regulate emotions, build resilience, and develop the inner strength they need to thrive.
What is the science behind SHAKTI Warriors?
Shakti Warriors draws on research from Educational Neuroscience, focusing on brain development, emotional regulation, stress response, and neuroplasticity.
Children’s brains are still developing, especially the regions responsible for impulse control, empathy, decision-making, and self-awareness. Through practices such as reflection, co-regulation, movement, and emotional language-building, students actively strengthen neural pathways that support resilience, regulation, and overall well-being.
Is my school or organization a good fit for SHAKTI Warriors?
To achieve the true impact of SHAKTI Warriors is designed your school or organization must be willing to make a real commitment to well-being - not as an occasional activity, but as part of the foundation of learning. Schools that are the best fit are those willing to commit to:
- Implementing student well-being as part of your standard curriculum
- Each student participates in one 40–60 minute classroom session of the SHAKTI Warriors program
- Training educators and staff so the program is delivered with consistency and confidence
- Bringing parents into the conversation so students receive support at school and at home
- Staying committed long-term, even when some weeks are impacted by testing, vacations, or school events
When schools make this commitment, SHAKTI Warriors becomes more than a program—it becomes a culture shift that transforms students, classrooms, and entire communities.
What makes SHAKTI Warriors different from other SEL programs?
SHAKTI Warriors blends cinematic-quality storytelling, immersive characters, and hands-on learning tools students genuinely want to engage with. Grounded in Educational Neuroscience, it teaches children how their brains work—what happens when they’re triggered and how to regulate themselves in real time. The program builds identity, resilience, and emotional strength—not just awareness or information.
Academic & Behavioral Outcomes
How is impact measured?
Through educator observations, student reflection, behavioral indicators, and surveys.
What outcomes can schools expect to see?
Schools report improved emotional regulation, stronger peer relationships, increased classroom engagement, and fewer behavioral disruptions. When children are emotionally regulated, they become more focused, confident learners - driving stronger academic outcomes and a healthier school culture overall.
How does SHAKTI Warriors improve academic performance?
Stronger emotional regulation leads to improved focus, persistence, and classroom engagement. When students feel safe, connected, and regulated, their brains are more available for learning.
Does it replace counseling?
No. It strengthens preventative well-being skills but does not replace counseling services.
Implementation & Training
What does it take to get started?
Getting started with SHAKTI Warriors is simple and structured. After an initial discovery conversation (Week 1), onboarding and implementation planning (Week 2), and educator orientation/training (Week 3.). Most schools are ready to launch within 3 weeks of initial discovery.
How much time per week does implementation require?
We recommend 40–60 minutes per week for meaningful, lasting impact. A consistent weekly rhythm gives children something positive to look forward to, helping build emotional awareness and self-regulation—like strengthening a muscle.
Consistency matters more than intensity; steady practice drives sustainable culture change, boosts morale, and strengthens school culture over time.
Can it be used during school and after school?
Yes. It works during school hours, advisory blocks, wellness periods, and after-school programs.
Can we start with a pilot?
Yes. Many schools begin with one grade or group before expanding schoolwide.
A pilot allows leadership and educators to experience the methodology firsthand, gather feedback, and observe impact within their own context. Once the foundation feels strong and aligned, the program can be scaled thoughtfully across additional grades.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions include storytelling, discussion, experiential activities, and practical emotional regulation tools.
A Shakti Warriors session is highly experiential, engaging, often conversational and/or reflective.
Each session typically includes storytelling or a thematic introduction, a guided discussion, experiential activities or play-based exercises, practical emotional regulation tools such as breathwork, movement, or reflection. Each session closes with journal questions and an option for parental involvement – that is intended to connect parents to this learning to include them in this conversation.
What kind of training is included with SHAKTI Warriors?
SHAKTI Warriors offers multiple levels of training to ensure educators, schools, and parents feel confident and aligned in implementing the program.
- Train-the-Trainer Professional Development (For Educators)
For teachers and facilitators leading SHAKTI Warriors in classrooms, after-school programs, or community settings, we offer a structured Train-the-Trainer program. This equips facilitators with the philosophy, core essence, session flow, and emotional safety frameworks needed to deliver the program with clarity and confidence. - Transforming School Culture (Whole-School Training)
For schools ready to deepen their commitment to student well-being, we offer professional development for the entire adult ecosystem: teachers, leaders, counsellors, and members of the staff, to build a consistent, school-wide culture of community, dialogue, and empowerment. - Parent Integration Support
To extend learning beyond the classroom, SHAKTI Warriors provides online training resources and guidance for parents bringing the curriculum to their homes. These tools help families reinforce social and emotional skills at home and deepen connection, communication, and trust within the family system.
Together, these training pathways ensure that SHAKTI Warriors is not just a program, but a sustainable cultural shift in the wellbeing of children.
